Recharge a FASTag wallet across issuing banks, looked up by vehicle registration number or by tag ID. This is a recurring counter service rather than a one-off, since a tag with a low balance is stopped at the toll plaza and the driver notices only when it is inconvenient.

Why does the balance not show at the plaza immediately?

The top-up credits the issuer wallet, and the plaza reads that balance when the vehicle passes. A confirmed top-up is on the tag; a pending one has not credited yet and should not be re-submitted, because a second successful top-up is a second debit with no way to reverse the first.
