Payout
Outbound transfers to any account in India over IMPS, NEFT, RTGS or UPI. Built for disbursing many payments at once (vendor settlements, commissions, refunds and salaries) with per-transaction status rather than a single batch result.
What you get
- IMPS, NEFT, RTGS and UPI from one API, with automatic rail selection by amount and hour
- Single or bulk transfers, each with its own independently trackable status
- Beneficiary validation before the first rupee moves
- A transfer whose outcome is unknown stays pending and is never silently reversed
- Balance and low-balance alerts, so a queue does not stall unnoticed
- Full audit trail per transfer: initiated, sent, confirmed, returned
How it works
- 1Fund the accountTransfers draw from a prefunded balance, so a payout never depends on a collection clearing first.
- 2Submit the transferPost the beneficiary and amount with your own reference. We pick the rail unless you name one.
- 3Track to a terminal stateEach transfer resolves to confirmed or returned. Anything else remains pending. An unknown outcome is never reported as a failure.
FAQ
About payout
What happens if a payout times out?
It stays pending and the balance stays debited. A timeout is the case where the money is most likely to have moved and only the response was lost, so reversing on a timeout is how a network pays twice. It resolves on the return file or by an operator, never by elapsed time alone.
Can I send to a UPI ID rather than an account number?
Yes. UPI transfers take a VPA instead of account and IFSC; everything else about the request and the status model is identical.
