API Reseller
KYC Verification API
The full identity toolkit, each check running against the authority that issued the identity rather than against a transcribed copy. Aadhaar OTP with consent, PAN, penny-drop bank validation, name-only bank verification, Aadhaar eSign and eStamp.
What you get
- Aadhaar OTP verification with a retained consent artefact
- PAN verification against the income tax database
- Penny drop: a one rupee credit confirming the account is live
- Bank account name verification without a debit
- Aadhaar eSign for legally valid electronic signature
- eStamp issuance for stamp duty payment
How it works
- 1Capture consentAadhaar checks require explicit customer consent, which the API records and returns as a retained artefact. It is not optional and not inferable from the request.
- 2Verify against the authorityEach check queries the body that issued the identity: UIDAI for Aadhaar, the income tax database for PAN, the customer bank for an account.
- 3Receive a decisionA match, a mismatch with the field that differed, or an explicit unavailable. An unavailable authority is never returned as a mismatch.
FAQ
About kyc verification api
What does penny drop actually confirm?
That the account exists, is live, and is held in the name returned. It credits one rupee and reads back the registered name, which is stronger than a format check and is why it is the standard before any first payout to a new beneficiary.
Is eSign legally valid?
Aadhaar eSign is a legally valid electronic signature under the Information Technology Act, with the signer authenticated by UIDAI at signing time.
