FAQ

About insurance api

Why must a purchase cite a quote reference?

Because the premium belongs to the quote. The insurer prices the risk at quote time, and buying without that reference would mean purchasing at an unpriced or stale premium. An expired quote is re-quoted rather than honoured.

When is the policy document available?

Once the insurer issues it, which is not always immediate. The purchase confirms first and the document follows, so your product should show cover as active on confirmation rather than waiting for the PDF.
